Platform Tennis

Platform Tennis is located behind A.C. Nielsen Tennis Center a facility of the Winnetka Park District. Platform (or paddle) tennis is played outdoors in fall, winter and spring. The sport has many advantages: it’s easy to learn the skills, it’s great exercise, it’s a social sport, and it can be enjoyed by players of any age or ability.

The Winnetka Park District operates one of the only public facilities in the Midwest. Our six courts are in top condition and are complemented by our state-of-the-art hut.

Registration Information
Registration will begin on March 10 for Winnetka Park District residents and returning participants and March 12 for non-residents. Registration is handled through Winnetka Ice Arena.

The Paddle Hut Is Available Off-Season!

The Winnetka Park District’s paddle hut is a great place to socialize with family and friends.

This popular facility opened to rave reviews and can easily accommodate groups of up to 50 people.

Off-season party reservations for April 1 through August 31 are now being accepted. All parties must sign a contract for usage of the hut and be reserved by contacting Tom Gullen at (847) 501-2069, or tgullen@winpark.org for more information!
